Returns and Exchanges on Livestock:
All livestock sold is quarantined for an appropriate period of time to ensure good health. Guarantee of the live arrival of livestock is limited to overnight shipping only.
* No exchanges or returns on livestock will be accepted.
In order to qualify for a store credit or refund, the customer needs to report the loss or bad condition of the livestock by contacting us through email and by providing pictures as proof within 24 hours of receipt. The customer is responsible for ensuring the livestock is able to be received at the first date and time scheduled for delivery.
Returns and Exchanges on Hardware:
AquaSense offers a 30-day Satisfaction Guarantee from the original invoice date on many of the items that it sells. Due to supplier and manufacturer restrictions, some opened items will be non-refundable, and any return is subject to prior approval from us. Items that are unopened and still sealed in the original packaging can be returned within 30 days of purchase, unless the item is specified as unreturnable.
No returns or exchange for final sale and clearance items. Only refunds or store credit may be issued for defective items.
For any returns, please contact us through our service email: firstname.lastname@example.org. Please provide your invoice or order number, item code, and the reason for the request.
AquaSense warrants its product(s) to be in good working condition and free from defects regarding the materials and workmanship for a period of 6 months (180 days). This period begins from the original invoice date, unless stated otherwise on the product page, or, in the manufacturer’s own warranty policy.
The warranty on AquaSense Starphire Aquariums lasts for 1 year from the date of purchase.
For any damage caused during shipping, the item may be exchanged or provided a refund depending on the specific situation and nature of the damage, at the discretion of AquaSense.

Order Cancellations & Changes
For the benefit of our customers, we attempt to process orders as rapidly as possible. As such, orders may be sent to our warehouse for fulfillment soon after they are placed. Due to the handling, we will not be able to make any order changes or cancellations once they have reached this stage of processing.
Please review your order very carefully prior to submitting it, and if cancellation is necessary; please contact us as soon as possible to increase the likelihood that we will be able to stop your order before it goes to the warehouse for fulfillment. Unfortunately, we can make no guarantees that all orders will be successfully canceled.
What taxes do I pay?
Goods and Services Tax (GST) will be charged on all orders shipped to a Canadian address. All orders shipped within Quebec (QC) will be charged the applicable Provincial Sales Tax (QST).
