Our Otocinclus, also commonly known as Oto and Dwarf Suckermouths, are wild caught specimens from Colombia making them a hardier fish than tank raised as well as a great function fish to add to the aquarium. They will happily graze algae off the aquarium glass, wood, rock, and even aquatic plants leaves.

They diligently graze on algae and are a peaceful addition to any community or planted aquarium. Provide your Otos with plenty of driftwood and/or rounded stones as grazing areas for eating algae. Your Otocinclus will also graze algae from your slower-growing plant leaves such as: AnubiasCabombaCryptocorynesFerns, Echinodorus, etc…
